RESOLUTION 

Resolution 2019-07-12-04 : Statutes – Regulations / Emeritus Members

• Considering that clause 4.01 of the Statutes and Regulations allows for the designation of emeritus members;
• Considering that the Board of Directors has decided to designate emeritus members since the foundation of the Centre in 1988;
• Considering that the Director General presented a document on the contribution of each person;
• Considering that former members can continue to contribute their experience and wisdom and that emeritus members can attend Board meetings;

It is moved by Chantal Leblanc-Bélanger and seconded by Raymond Rancourt that the following people listed below be designated emeritus members of the Board of Directors, with no voting powers:

• Ms. Harriet Bowie                    Applicant – letters patent, January 9, 1988
• Mr. Gerard Harmsen               Applicant – letters patent, January 9, 1988
• Mr. Denis Cousineau              Applicant – letters patent, January 9, 1988
• Ms. Pierrette Malo                   Founding member 1988-2018
• Mr. Jacques De Rop                Chair of the Board 2002-2008
• Ms. Donna Lévesque              Director General 2003-2014
• Mr. Michel Brazeau                Treasurer 2004-2014
• Mr. Reynald Labelle               Chair of the Board 2013-2019
• Katrina Huntington/              important donor since 2010
  Greg Stainton Family
  

 
It is also moved that this resolution be laminated and sent to each person or their descendants with a thank you letter from the Chair and the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors.
